The gearbox castings are made of high-grade ductile iron. After low-temperature aging treatment and quenching-tempering process, they achieve a tensile strength of over 550MPa and excellent impact toughness. This enables them to withstand the high-frequency loads and impacts generated during gear meshing, preventing casting cracking or deformation and ensuring the long-term load-bearing reliability of the gearbox.

In terms of process, resin sand precision casting is adopted. The dimensional tolerances of key parts of the gearbox housing, such as bearing holes and shift mechanism mounting positions, are strictly controlled within ±0.02mm. This ensures precise adaptation to gear shafts and bearings, reduces transmission gaps, lowers operating noise, and improves power transmission efficiency.

Meanwhile, the internal structure of the castings features optimized oil circuits and heat dissipation channels, combined with smooth inner wall treatment (with a surface roughness of Ra1.6μm). This guarantees smooth circulation of lubricating oil and rapid heat dissipation, reduces gear wear, slows down the rise of oil temperature, further enhances the operational stability of the gearbox, and supports efficient equipment

Application of Head Casting Molds in Enterprises

Our company has a raw material storage workshop of approximately 1,200 square meters, a model-making workshop (woodworking shop) of about 500 square meters, a casting workshop of around 4,000 square meters, a machining workshop of roughly 2,800 square meters, a heat treatment workshop of about 1,600 square meters, an office area of approximately 500 square meters, an environmental protection and public facilities area of around 1,500 square meters, and a reserved development area of roughly 1,300 square meters.

Our company is equipped with 2 medium-frequency induction furnaces (10 tons each), 1 bogie-type heating furnace (4m × 4m × 30m), 2 5-meter 5-axis gantry milling machines, and 3 2.5-meter vertical lathes. Its cooperative laboratory is capable of conducting chemical tests (including composition analysis and metallographic analysis) and is furnished with tension and impact testing equipment certified by ASME.
