The machine tool bed castings are made of high-wear-resistance gray cast iron. By adopting a process that combines secondary artificial aging with natural aging, the internal casting stress is deeply eliminated. This controls the straightness error of the bed guideway surface within 0.005mm/m, providing stable benchmark support for the machine tool and effectively avoiding machining precision deviations caused by bed deformation.
Structurally, a staggered design of multiple transverse and longitudinal reinforcing ribs is adopted to enhance the overall rigidity of the bed. It can withstand the huge impact force and high-frequency vibration generated during the machine tool's cutting process, suppress bed deformation, and ensure the dimensional precision stability of the machine tool during long-term operation.
In addition, the mating surfaces of the bed castings with sliders and lead screws undergo precision milling and lapping processes, achieving a surface roughness of Ra0.4μm. This improves the fit with supporting components, reduces transmission gaps, further enhances the operational stability of the machine tool, and helps customers achieve efficient and high-precision machining production.
